The 7th Annual Veteran Stand Down and Hiring Event will attract a large number of applicants and feature dozens of employers this year.
John Moysiuk, a Veteran Representative at WorkSource Thurston County, is coordinating the event in partnership with multiple agencies and organizations in an effort to assist veterans with finding employment.
In highlighting the event, John stated, “This is our 7th year organizing this Stand-Down and Hiring Event. Our mission is to provide one-stop assistance for those Veterans needing and requesting assistance to better their current circumstances. There is likely to be as many as 40 to 50 employers with over 400 job seekers attending and approximately 50 volunteers and support personnel. The hiring event will be open to the public from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
