Free class will teach business owners how to register in the required federal award management system
October 24, 2012- The Business Resource Center is hosting two Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) workshops, on November 13 and December 5, to help businesses comply with federal government contracting requirements. Stephanie Scott of Washington Procurement Technical Center (PTAC) will be presenting the free workshop, providing attendees with information on registering with the federal government.
Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required in order to be awarded a contract with the federal government and to be paid for work performed. SAM recently replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA).
