In this introductory course, we will be learning the Elder Futhark runes. We will go over all 24 runes of this particular alphabet. We will learn their origin, their more simplified meanings, and how they can be used in everyday spell work, such as candle magic.
Have you ever wondered, why the name Futhark? It is the first six letters of the runic alphabet: F=Fehu, U=Uruz, Th=Thurisaz, A=Ansuz, R=Raidho, K=Kenaz. You will find them to be simple, yet profound. You will be instructed on how to make the runes your own and how to develop your own relationship with them, making them an intimate part of your everyday magical household, work station, etc.
Each student will take home their own rune set that we will create in the class.
Instructor: Bonnie Witcher. Bonnie is the lead massage therapist at Radiance. She has been a practitioner of Wicca for more than 20 years and was called Asatru by the gods themselves many years ago. Combining her deeply honed intuitive abilities along with these sacred symbols, she will assist you on your own journey to open up the infinite wisdom and knowledge of the Runes.
