Join Wild Grief at Priest Point Park as we explore nature’s beauty along Ellis Cove Trail. This 1.5 mile loop trail often offers shorebird sightings and is great for all hiking levels and ages.

We will meet at the trail entrance of Ellis Cove Trail on East Bay Drive, on the west side of Priest Point Park. Driving from Olympia, come into Priest Point Park, crossing the bridge to the west side of the park. A parking lot is on the right, just after crossing the bridge.

Every grief hike begins with an opening circle, an acknowledgement of who is here and who we are carrying in our hearts. Then we walk in silence for 10 minutes. Then the group morphs and changes, small groupings or solitary walkers. Conversations can be deep or light, mixing the here and now with our shut away places. And are times of walking with another in silence. We know each of us is somewhere in their grief journey and all are welcome. We end with a closing circle.
