VGA Skills Development for ages 9-17: Tuesdays, June 16 through July 7, 6:45-7:45 pm. This four-week instructional series focuses on building the basic fundamentals of each student’s golf game. Weekly competitions allow players to learn how to manage nerves and begin developing a mental approach to competition. End goal is to equip the students with the essential fundamentals to further develop their golf game. Class size is limited to 10 students with two teaching professionals to ensure a quality experience for all students. In addition, each student that completes this program qualifies to participate in the 2020 VGA Ultimate Skills Challenge coming up in August, at a special 50% discounted VGA Member price.
Week 1: Putting Drills and Competition
Week 2: Chipping and Pitching
Week 3: Full Swing (Alignment, Distance Control, and Power)
Week 4: Competitions focused in these areas of the golf game
