Trout Unlimited Meeting: Steelhead Fishing on the Cowlitz River with Casey Weigel

The public is invited to the July 23, 2014 meeting of Trout Unlimited for an active and descriptive presentation by Casey Weigel on fishing for the prized Steelhead on the Cowlitz River. He will be covering available data regarding plants and forecasts for the upcoming seasons as well as describing the hot spots to fish from bank or boat and cover the special disabled fisherman access. His fishing techniques will be shared on how to catch this sought after trophy fish. He has manufactured special lures and ‘mystery’ hooks (to be shown for the first time at this meeting) that contribute to hooking and landing a prized Steelhead from the river. Be ready to have a well delivered presentation and a “hands on” tackle discussion during the program.
