Join us for a micro-local, seasonal dinner in the lush Nisqually Valley. Tour the farm, enjoy a summer evening and feast on the freshest organic ingredients – all sourced locally and prepared on the Pigman’s Organic Produce Patch Farm. The dinner will be mostly vegetarian and gluten-free, with a few small local meat sides.

The meal will be prepared by Joel Hart of Hart’s Mesa, a newly opened locally-sourced, Latin-inspired restaurant next to the Westside Food Co-op. Joel was the chef behind Dino’s and has been supporting local farms with his delicious cooking for several years now. We are very excited to work with him on this extra special farm-to-table dinner, and hear from him about the difficulties and perks of sourcing locally.

Jan and Dean Pigman began their first season of farming 26 years ago. Since then, they have became a community staple, selling their produce at the Olympia Farmer’s Market, the Olympia Coops, through a CSA program, and directly off the farm. Pigman’s Produce Patch is one of Washington’s only certified-organic U-Pick strawberry farms.
