The Wonders of Costa Rica with Anna Stusser and Aaron Gilles

Back in 2016, Anna Stusser, Aaron Gilles, and a number of other staff employed by ESD 113 went on an educational journey to Costa Rica. The aim was to improve their Spanish for the sake of connecting to the Spanish Speaking population, run by the GRAVITY program. In this talk, you will learn about the GRAVITY program run out of the Educational Service District 113, see beautiful pictures of the stunning Costa Rica landscape, and hear what Anna and her former coworker and current friend, Aaron Gilles learned and loved about their journey.

Anna Stusser is the current Activities Coordinator here at Senior Services for South Sound. Anna is a longtime resident of Olympia, and improving the community is important to her. She enjoys espresso drinks, chocolate croissants, reading books, petting animals, and sending and receiving letters in the mail. Ask her about the pen pal program and the Mac and Cheese drive run though Senior Services.

Aaron Gilles is the Data Support Specialist, Case Manager, and Education Advocate at the Grays Harbor Office of GRAVITY run through ESD 113. Aaron enjoys photography, good food, and being a member of the Grays Harbor Lions club. He is a proud alum of Evergreen State College. He lives in Aberdeen with his wife Clara, also a Case Manager at GRAVITY, and their adorable daughter Juniper. Ask Aaron about how you can help disadvantaged teenagers.

This talk will be conducted via Zoom. To join the meeting https://zoom.us/j/98107260334?status=success
