SafePlace is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking event for their new Community Service Center, located at 521 Legion Way SE.  “The new center is dedicated to providing the highest quality services for survivors that we can, as well as engaging our community members in preventing sexual and domestic violence,” says Mary Pontarolo, SafePlace Executive Director.  “We are thrilled to have more space for our drop-in clients, for our children’s program, support groups and trainings, as well as increasing our outreach and prevention work, which is critical to the health and safety of our community.” The ceremony will feature live music by Bevy, and comments from Thurston County Commissioner Sandra Romero.
