Come to Glacial Heritage Preserve this Saturday, October 29, from 10 am to 1pm to help our bats as part of the Center for Natural Lands Management’s Day of Pulling for Bats.

Without bats, the Earth would be a very different and much poorer place. Around the world, more than 1,300 species of bats play roles that are vital to the health of the environment and the economy.

This Saturday, come and learn how you can help bats at our Day of Pulling for Bats. You will learn about bat conservation through fun activities, help us remove invasive plants, and learn how to build a bat box! We will also have a costume contest, since it is Halloween weekend!

Please wear costumes that are appropriate for field work and are family friendly.

Don’t forget to bring a boxed lunch, plenty of water and work gloves (if you have them). We look
