Priest Point Park Volunteer Work Party

Like Life Savers? How about a calorie-free version guaranteed to burn calories? This work party will focus on creating “ivy life savers” around the trees. After cutting the ivy vines away from a tree at shoulder length, we pull the vines down and away from the trees. This separates the growing ivy attached to the tree from the ivy root system, killing the ivy on the tree. Meet near the Maintenance Center at Priest Point Park. We will then walk to the area as a group. Plenty of parking available. The park is located at 2600 East Bay Drive NE.
