Pollution-Prevention Plantings – Thurston Co. ARC

Join Thurston Co. Stream Team and WSU Extension’s Native Plant Salvage Project for a unique service opportunity to prevent polluted runoff from going directly to the storm-drains at the County’s Accountability & Restitution Center. We’ll plant erosion-control native and water-wise species to protect local waterways, while establishing new layered landscapes that will save water, provide habitat for birds, mammals and beneficial insects, and improve the aesthetics of this County facility.
