The Pet Parade celebrates 87 years in downtown Olympia! Bring your furry (or scaly) friends and join the fun. “Pets in Space” : Lineup begins at 8 a.m., at Heritage Park in downtown Olympia. Judging begins at 8:30 a.m. and runs to 9:45 a.m. Parade begins at 10 a.m. at the park. Parade ends at Sylvester Park, 615 Washington St. SE. Free ice cream and goodie bags. Participants are eligible to win prizes. Donations of pet food are suggested and will benefit Concern for Animals. Watch for the official program on Aug. 5, in The Olympian.
