Olympia Poetry Grand Slam feat. Tara Hardy

Olympia People’s Mic, a local poetry open-mic and poetry slam hosted by Old Growth Poetry Collective, has been building towards this since last October. The top-competing poets of Olympia will compete again to form the first Olympia team going to the National Poetry Slam in Oakland this August. This show also serves as a fundraiser to get the team to Oakland, covering travel costs, lodging, etc. Nationally touring performance poet Tara Hardy will be doing a half hour set of her work.
