A community member, Julie Bennett is putting on this benefit. As she says: “In 2009 I went to Nepal to photograph a medical mission. It is how I came to know the Nepali people and Ramchandra Sapkota. Ramchandra helped me get down from the Himalayas after I contracted food poisoning. Ramchandra’s village, house, farm, livestock, 38 members of his extended family, and a Kathmandu apartment were all lost during the second earthquake to strike Nepal. Ramchandra is on a mission to bring food and shelter to the 1400 inhabitants of his village Dharka who are now dealing with monsoon rains. The goal of the benefit is raise funds to send to Ramchandra so he may help his village in it’s immediate needs.”

Beer, wine, and other drinks to be served by Traditions. Finger foods and potluck to be shared by all. For the benefit we have poetry readings by local singer songwriter Holly Gwinn Graham. Music by:
