Join Stream Team and WSU Native Plant Salvage to help maintain both access and ecological diversity at the McLane Creek Nature Trail, beginning Tuesday, May 1, from 3-6 p.m. From spring through fall, volunteers help trim back plants and remove weeds along the popular walking trail, while being mindful of not harming native plants or causing “trail widening.” Volunteers learn about plant species and proper maintenance techniques.
