Each will share a book excerpt and discuss her work during a panel discussion followed by a Q and A session and book signing. Books will be available to purchase. The event will be at the Lacey Timberland Library on Saturday, April 27 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Anthea Lawson’s first two novels were co-written by the husband and wife team, Anthea and Lawson. The first one, “Passionate,” was nominated for the prestigious Romance Writers of America (RWA) RITA award for Best First Book.

Since 2010, Anthea has branched out solo, continuing to write historical romance including novels and “spicy” Regency short stories. Under the name Anthea Sharp, she also writes Young Adult Urban Fantasy (the Feyland trilogy). Anthea lives with her family in the Northwest, where the rainy days and excellent coffee fuel her writing. In addition to writing, Anthea is an Irish fiddler with the Celtic band Fiddlehead. Jennifer Conner is a best-selling Northwest author who has two full length books in print and 30 short stories in print and e-book format. Her “Shot in the Dark” and “Christmas Chaos” both placed in the Amazon Kindle top 10. Shot in the Dark was also a finalist in the Emerald City Opener, Cleveland, and Toronto RWA contests.

Conner is an associate publisher with Books to Go Now. She lives where she grew up, in a hundred-year-old house near Seattle, and blows glass beads with a blow torch, “…which,” she says, “relieves a lot of stress and people don’t bother me.” Website: www.jenniferconnerbooks.com

Debby Lee has enjoyed writing since she was a small child. Besides the Christian Writers Guild, she is an active member in several chapters of the RWA. Her digital releases include short stories, “Butterflies are Free” and “Christmas Butterflies,” a short book of poetry titled “Potpourri,” and “A Dream of Harmon,” a novella. “A Cascades Christmas” was published in 2012.

Lee lives near Seattle with her family. Besides reading, her interests include watching historical movies, being active in her church and cheering for the Seattle Seahawks. Website: http://booksbydebbylee.com

Margaret Mallory is the author of the Scottish historical series, “Return of the Highlanders,” and the medieval series, “All the King’s Men.” First published in 2009, Margaret’s second novel was a finalist for an RWA RITA award. Her subsequent five books were highly rated by RT Book Reviews. Her books have won numerous awards, including the Maggie and the National Readers’ Choice Awards.

Mallory lives with her husband in the Pacific Northwest. With her children off on their own adventures, she spends much of her time with her fictional characters. Website: www.MargaretMallory.com

Serena Zane started at an early age writing short stories and poetry inspired by her mother, “a strong independent woman who loves to help others and writes as well.” A member of the RWA, Zane fell in love with writing contemporary action/adventure romance while she attended college to study Criminal Justice. In her writing she has combined both her knowledge of criminal justice and her love of the paranormal.

Zane lives in the Northwest with her husband and son and spends much of her free time studying the Middle Ages. Website: www.serenazane.com
