Create a Gingerbread scene from your favorite book. Materials provided for 2 crafting sessions, Saturday, January 3, 1 to 4 p.m. (all ages), and Tuesday, January 6, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (children & families). Submission deadline: 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 7. Structures should be self-contained & shoe-box sized. Awards ceremony: Friday, January 9 at 4 p.m. Refreshments and prizes courtesy of the Friends of the Lacey Library.
