Bahá’ís of Thurston County are preparing to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh, the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, on October 22, 2017.
“The Light of Unity Festival”, will feature Dr. Les Purce, former president of Evergreen State College, speaking on the unity of mankind, universal education and the value of community. Entertainment will include the trio Thoughts, Words & Actions, the Alleluia! bell choir, and the One Voice choir. Guests will also be treated to traditional cultural dance performances and ceremonies.
