The free monthly noon hour local history talks at Tumwater’s historic Schmidt House closes its 2015/16 season on Thursday, June 16, with an illustrated talk presented by noted local historian Shanna Stevenson. Her focus is “the Tyee Hotel and other 20th Century Tumwater Landmarks”. (The impact of I-5)

The doors open at 11:20 a.m. and the seating is on a “first come-first seated” basis.  Doors will close when the seating is filled to capacity.  The program is video recorded by TCTV for later viewing on the local access Tumwater channel 26 and on the City of Tumwater website.
