The gallery’s grand opening will be July 30, 2021 at 11 AM. Mayor JW Foster will do the ribbon cutting honors, accompanied by members of Yelm Chamber of Commerce and the community.
A new art gallery, InGenius! Local Artisan Gallery & Boutique, hopes to help revive the arts scene for Yelm and beyond. The gallery will showcase local artistry with a starting lineup of artisans from Chehalis, Rainier, Rochester, Tenino, and Yelm.
Works in oil, watercolor, pencil and colored pencil, glass, leather, fiber, wood, and more are included, along with a selection of local honey products, soaps, and other hand-crafted gift items. Custom framing will also be part of the picture, as will live acoustic music, in a spacious 1800 sq. ft. of public space.
