Food-Fest for Clean Water Benefit

This event is being brought to you and hosted by the Olympia Muslim-Jewish Listening Group. Members of both communities have been meeting since 2001, sharing food, experience, dialogue, friendship, and solidarity together over the past 15 years, becoming like family to each other.

We are raising $9,000 toward setting up clean water projects requested by the people of Mombasa, Kenya, and to be facilitated by the Muslim Community there. Waterborne illnesses – including bacterial dystentery, typhoid, and occasionally cholera – are common.

Admission is by donation, and a generous benefactor will match all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $6,500!
