Are you drawn to working with families? Our advanced training prepares you for the increased complexities and higher emotional climate present in family cases. It includes information on state and local laws that govern family meditations and addresses diversity in families, needs of children, domestic violence, ethical dilemmas and negotiating parenting plans.
This 20-hour course is for those who have completed the 40-hour professional mediation training and is a prerequisite for mediating family cases.

*Those who have completed their exam and have entered our practicum are considered current Thurston County DRC volunteers. If you are asking your workplace to pay your tuition, we ask that you pay the full price.
**Additional discounts are available for multiple registrations from the same DRC.

-Cancellation Policy: For cancellations received seven or more days prior to the start of the training, the full registration fee will be refunded. Half the registration fee will be refunded for cancellations received less than seven days in advance and up to the start of the training
