Join us on June 13th at 1 PM – 2 PM to learn more about the role insects play in our urban lives. What would it look like if only insects were left? What are ways to help keep beneficial insects in our cities?
Director/Producer and BAFTA member James McAleer, will be online to talk about his short film, Invertebrates. We’ll learn more about why he chose to focus on these animals and the artistry behind his film. We’ll then hear about the relationship between plants and insects in our cities from Postdoctoral Scientist Max Adams with the Department of Biological Sciences at George Washington University. This combination of art and science will help us better understand an often misunderstood and important animal.
