The Learning Right Relations Gathering welcomes Zoltan Grossman and his wife, Debi McNutt. Author of Unlikely Alliances: Native Nations and White Communities Join to Defend Rural Lands, Zoltan is a colleague of Tribal Leaders of the Pacific Northwest and Pacific Rim Indigenous Peoples; lifting-up their native ecological wisdom in his first book Asserting Native Resilience: Pacific Rim Indigenous Nations Face the Climate Crisis. Also a scholar of US imperialism, he’ll bring unique insights into the exploration of this topic as we discuss Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz’s book, Indigenous People’s History of the United States. Join us for an in-depth discussion, with potluck to follow.
