Corvettes Racing For The Cure

On September 14th, 2019, like-minded Corvette and car enthusiasts will come together for a common purpose—raising awareness and funds to end breast cancer. Our one day high performance driving event will take place at the ridge motorsports Park in Shelton and everyone is invited to join.

The 20 minute high performance rides are for a suggested donation of $150.00   The Kart teams are to consist of 4 people and it is $250.00 for a team.  The Kart race is for 1 hour, 15 minutes per person.

The Experience

Three Opportunities:

1. If you’ve ever dreamed of zipping around a race track at twice the legal speed then this event is for you!  Our event is a two-day high performance driving event allowing people to ride along with experienced drivers in BMWs, Porsches, Mustangs, Miatas, stock cars, and Vipers, just to name a few….  Experience first-hand the thrill and exhilaration of riding in a sports car. If riding along is not for you, come and join us on the paddock to take in the sights and sounds of a Track Day!

2. One Hour Karting Race-15 Teams battling for checker flag.  Contact Tom Duncan @ duncantj1@hotmail.com to enter a team.

3. Car Show:  Bring your favorite car to display !

Why the American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer?

Today, we know that one in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in his or her lifetime. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, specifically, and of those diagnosed, two out of three will survive the disease. We have a lot of work to do so that everyone who is diagnosed survives the disease. Every donation—big or small—makes an impact. So, we invite you to join us—Corvettes Racing For The Cure—on September 14th, 2019—for a thrilling and live-saving time!

How you can join!

Be a part of our event by simply coming out and going for a ride! Make a donation online, bring cash, or a check made out to the American Cancer Society or online at the bottom of Corvettesracingforthecure.com

Register online, set a goal, and fundraise! You can do this as a driver, participant, or even a “virtual racer”! Ask you friends and family for your support!
