South Sound Productions presents Headliner Ash’Ley Rushin & Feature Keith Caraway at new up & coming comedy venue, Quarter Mile Bar & Grill.

Headliner: Ash’Ley Rushin

Born a Houston Texas native, comedian Ash’ley Rushin doing standup in 2010. Upon being diagnosed with MS he took to the stage to a warm reception, but after performing for only a year was now a burn survivor performing in a mask and gloves. He continued his comedic journey describing it as “turning bad things into comedy”. Influenced by the comedic stylings of greats such as Carlin, Pryor, and Red Foxx he’s applied his own formula to the mix. Taking everyday oddities and personal issues making them relatable and laughable. “I don’t like to think of the things I say on stage as jokes, this is more like a personal journal of mine that I keep and share with everybody.”

Comedians I’ve worked with. Ralph Porter, Nate Jackson, Ty Barnett, Justin Rupple, Jay Reid, Tobe Hixx, Tiffany Haddish, Ricky Harris, Johnny Cardinale , Gabriel Rutledge , Wally Walters, Alex Elkins, Andrew Sleighter, Cory Michaelis, Jubal Flagg, Ali Saddiq , Shang, Rodman , Cocoa Brown, Rell Howery, Stand up boot camp alumni with Kyle Cease & Louie Anderson, Kevin Hart showcase, Freedom Fair MC 50k people for 4th of July, Hosted “Fashion at the Needle” and a Jimmy Hendrix foundation event. My list is way longer just can’t remember everything over 8 years.

Feature: Keith “Garbage Man” Caraway

Keith is a 38 years old from Phoenix, Arizona (yes they make black people there) native. He has been doing comedy for about 5 years exclusively in the south Puget sound. He is happily divorced and has 3 children. If you enjoy hearing about rough life experiences, the modern dating scene, and his failed marriages — you have come to the right place. Don’t let him fool you (he likes to play dumb) he holds a graduate degree from Liberty University. If this wasn’t enough, you would be shocked to learned he just retired out of the military after 20 years in service. Keith is happy to report that he bathes regularly now. If you haven’t checked him out before we recommend you pee before you attend. It will come out if you don’t.

Tickets are $15 online (plus fees) / $25 at the door. Why buy online? It guarantees that you GET a seat inside? Once we hit 100 people, we will stop letting people for capacity reasons.

21+ only – Doors open at 7 p.m. (or you may come sooner) and show starts at 8 pm.

There’s food on site! Yum yum!

NOTE: Our first show SOLD OUT at 100 people. Expect these shows to all sell out as well.
