Help create a collaborative illustrated book with artist P. Calavara – recognizable from from Gallery Boom and around Olympia, especially his large plywood monsters known as Krommitters. P. Calavera is the alter ego of local artist Rick Perry. Rick has provided mask-wearing Krommitters to greet visitors as they enter the lobby, and additional examples of his art for the lobby wall. A storyteller as well as artist, Rick spins fanciful collaborative tales incorporating kids ideas and inspiration. He likes drawing monsters with kids because there is no wrong way to draw a monster.
