Good Shepherd’s Monthly Celtic Contemplative Worship continues on Thursday, Mar. 16 beginning with Dinner at 6 pm followed by Worship at 7 pm. and will continue every 3rd Thursday of the month through May.
Enjoy a simple dinner & conviviality at 6 p.m. in Crary Hall followed by quiet reflection and contemplation at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary where we will ritually carry light into the darkness as an act of hope for each other and our world.
All are welcome for a simple and beautiful meal at 6:00 pm, preceding 7:00 pm worship. The meal offers a focus on ethnic comfort food. In the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, the dinner for Mar. 16 will be Irish themed featuring Irish Stew.
Good Shepherd is pleased to share a series of evening contemplative gatherings with the wider community. This program is funded by a generous grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship; we are one of only 13 recipient congregations selected from across the US. We seek to offer space for hope and healing for people of all faith backgrounds and those with none, people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, all ethnicities, all abilities, all ages, and all economic circumstances.
