CIELO is having its Spring fundraising Fiesta, “Nueve de Mayo”/9th of May,” Saturday, May 9, from 7-12 midnight at the Columbian Hall, 6794 Martin Way E. in Lacey, WA.
Featured is spectacular Seattle dance troupe, Bailadores de Bronce, performing a variety of Mexican regional folkloric dances (7:30 to 8:30); live music “in a Latin groove” by local Olympia group, Los Calaveras; and a mix of your favorite Latino tunes in DJ format for dancing the night away!
Enjoy traditional Latino foods and a no-host bar. This event supports CIELO’s bilingual, bicultural Language and Literacy Programs for Latino families in the South Sound area.
