This is an easy walk through neighborhoods, several city parks, including the new library and pavilion at Pioneer Park, with iron sculpture artwork in the downtown area, the Powerhouse Brewery & Pub, Meeker Mansion, Karshner Memorial Museum, and the Riverwalk along the Puyallup River. Restrooms at start and in several parks along the way. Walk is a 10k with a 5k option, rated 1a.
To carpool: meet at Martin Way Park&Ride at the back of the lot. Be early – carpools leave at 9:00 AM. Drive time approx 45 min.
To drive: From I-5, Take exit #127 (Puyallup/SR 512). Go east on SR 512 for 11 miles. Exit on Pioneer Avenue and turn right. Turn left at light onto 15th St. SE and go through the next light at Main St. into the Safeway parking lot.
