The Chehalis Historic walk gives you a glimpse of the past. Walk past many buildings and homes on the National Register of Historic Places as you travel through neighborhoods and the main street of town. A few noteworthy are the Northern Pacific Railroad Depot, now the site of the Lewis County Historical Museum, the Obadiah B. McFadden house, the oldest continuously lived in residence in the state of Wa., and the US Post Office built by the Public Works Administration. The walk is 10k with a 6k option.
To carpool, meet at Starbucks at Trosper and Littlerock Road near Fred Meyer. Be early – carpools leave at 9:15 AM. Drive time approximately 30 min.
