The Tacoma Art Museum is currently presenting Art AIDS America, a ground breaking exhibit co-curated by Jonathan Katz, who discusses the exhibit and the art world’s response to AIDS over several decades. Prof. Katz is Chair of the Department of Art at the University at Buffalo, and the lecture is open to the community. The Cal Anderson Lecture is an endowed lecture in honor of Washington State’s first openly gay state senator.
