Mark Williams of Olympia Area Rowing (OAR) will discuss the sport, OAR, and how a lot of the lessons from the book – “The Boys in the Boat” – are parallel to what they do today. OAR promotes competitive and recreational rowing for adults and youth in the local community, fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, athleticism and camaraderie.
