Critics are using words such as “brutal,” “unflinching,” “visceral” and “moving” to describe Charlie Jack Joseph Kruger’s fiction. The author will provide his own descriptions and discuss his book, In Stark Weather, at the Olympia Timberland Library, Thursday, November 13, 7:30 to 8:45 p.m.

Coming from a background in social work and counseling, Kruger blends elements of real-world monsters into his fiction.  He has also written Older than Gods and Monsters, Setting Son, and Spoken Tombstones, and is a critic for Horror-Punks.com.
