Dr. Ken Warheit from the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) leads a discussion on Atlantic Salmon Commercial Aquaculture in Washington State. Aquaculture is the farming of fish, molluscs, algae, and other aquatic organisms.

This talk will discuss the Cypress Island accidental release of tens of thousands of Atlantic Salmon into Pacific waters during August of 2017. The extent of the damage to Pacific Salmon, such as disease, is still under review by WDFW, among others.
