East meets West in Arabesque: A Dance Journey presented at the Kenneth J Minnaert Center for the Arts on the SPSCC campus in Olympia. Featuring Henna of Portland and Olympia’s own Ballet Northwest, this night of beauty and grace will explore the intersections of ballet and belly dance. Also performing are Sacred Centre Dance of Victoria BC, Lunaria Dance Theatre, Raks Maleka, Roxy, Shining, Carol Thuy Thanh Bui, Michelle, Mirabai and Amirat Dance Company. Proceeds benefit the South Sound YMCA.
