American Cancer Society Thurston County Relay for Life Rally

Have you lost friends or loved ones to cancer? Are you currently fighting the battle– or caring for someone who is? Join us for the monthly Thurston County Relay for Life Rally! Anyone’s welcome. If you don’t have a team, we’ll find one for you to join or help you start your own.

* 5:30 to 6 pm: Networking, order food, turn in fundraising $$ to accounting
* 6 -7 pm: Rally

The Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to fight every cancer in every community. Dollars raised help the American Cancer Society save lives by funding groundbreaking cancer research, providing free information and critical services for people with cancer, and supporting education and prevention programs.

The Relay For Life movement unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. Relay For Life events are community gatherings where teams and individuals camp out at a school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Individuals and teams raise funds and awareness to help the American Cancer Society save more lives from cancer.

The 2017 Relay for Life will take place June 23-34 at Timberline High School.
