ABOUT THE EVENT:
Come to Orca Books for an evening with local author and Evergreen State College Professor, Miranda Mellis. Miranda Mellis will be reading from a novella in progress called Escaping, as well as excerpts from her new book of inferences, aphorisms, and constellated commentary in the minor key, Demystifications. This reading explores the context of the project in progress, and the art of progress as a final product.
Collaboratively conceived and curated by Orca Books Co-op, Desuetude Art Gallery and The 3rd Thing Press, these weekly events are an exercise in creating a culture of necessary alternatives.
