The City of Lacey plans to begin the Ruddell Road Retaining Wall Project on Monday, November 23, 2020. Work will take place along Ruddell Road, from 27th Avenue to Brentwood Drive, Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motorists can expect potential traffic delays and possible detours in the area.
The project includes installing a new retaining wall, widened sidewalks, improved street lighting, and landscaping. During construction, trees must be removed to accommodate the new retaining wall and expanded sidewalk. However, new trees will be planted in tree wells in the sidewalk. The City expects to complete the project in spring 2021.
