Howdy partners! Get ready for a fun event watching the talented dancers and singers of Melodies in Motion perform the Cupcake Corral – a show in two acts featuring well-known country western tunes on Saturday, April 27 at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Olympia.

According to artistic director Roberta Gray, “This year Melodies is preparing a new show in an innovative, audience-friendly format. The theater-in-the-round affords a better seating and viewing experience.”

Melodies in Motion is a multigenerational, volunteer group who entertain to bring joy to their audiences and help support worthy causes. “Cupcake fund-raising shows a collaboration between the group of singers, dancers and other artists known as Melodies in Motion and the local community non-profit organization for which the funds are raised,” explains stage manager Leslie Weaver.

All proceeds from both Cupcake Corral shows will benefit the Senior Nutrition Program at Senior Services for South Sound, which brings nutritional meals to homebound seniors, serves hot lunch at eight nutrition sites and helps end senior hunger.

The show is fun for the whole family! During intermission, the audience can learn a line dance, too. Every ticket comes with a cupcake. To purchase tickets, visit www.southsoundseniors.org, Olympia and Lacey Senior Centers or call 360.586.6181. Thank you for your support!
