The Washington Center for the Performing Arts is thrilled to welcome an intimate, all-acoustic evening with Lyle Lovett & John Hiatt. This one evening only performance on Friday, February 1 2019, will light up the Washington Center’s Main Stage.

This past January, fans throughout the northwest came to see Lyle Lovett perform, creating overwhelming excitement. Now touring with John Hiatt, “An Acoustic Evening” is a highly anticipated special engagement that brims with inspired storytelling and soulful delivery. Two of America’s premier singer-songwriters join forces for an acoustic evening backed by nothing but their superb voices, first-rate guitar playing and charming reminiscences.  Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt together again, these elegant, captivating meetings between cherished friends and collaborators make for dynamic song-and-story swaps that are difficult to resist.

Hiatt, nominated for 9 Grammy Awards, has 24 albums under his belt and is a member of the prestigious Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Lovett is a four time Grammy winner, including Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Album.

Executive Director Jill Barnes says, “We are thrilled to have Lyle Lovett return to our stage after his sold-out show with Robert Earl Keen last year. John Hiatt has been requested numerous times and to be able to have him onstage with Lovett is a real treat!”
