Thurston County Roadwork: Deschutes Way On-Ramp to Northbound I-5 Closes Tuesday Night

Thurston County roadwork: late night and early morning drivers who use Interstate 5 in the Tumwater area could see a series of night lane closures. Crews during overnight hours will also temporarily close the Deschutes Way Southwest on-ramp to northbound I-5.

The closures will allow maintenance crews to make repairs to a bridge expansion joint.

10:00 p.m. Monday, June 25, until 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26

  • Northbound I-5 approaching US 101 will reduce to one lane.

10:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27

  • Deschutes Way Southwest on-ramp to northbound Interstate 5 will close. During the closure, drivers are advised to use Trosper Road interchange.
  • Right lane of northbound I-5 approaching US 101 will close.
  • Left lane of the US 101 on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close.

10:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday June 27-28, to 5:00 a.m. each following day

  • Southbound I-5 approaching US 101 will reduce to one lane.
