Surfer, the winery’s varietal Syrah, crafted from grapes grown at Mays Discovery Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA, earned a gold medal. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this wine benefits the South Beach EMS. A sculpture commemorating this wine is featured in the winery’s display garden. The sculpture is a breaking wave created by Opal Art Glass of Cosmopolis. A vintage photo of winery co-owner, Blain Roberts, is featured on the label, from when he was a nationally-rated surfer on Maui in the 1970s.

Bordello Blonde, an off-dry blend of Gewurztraminer (75%) and Riesling (25%), grown at Red Willow Vineyard in the Yakima Valley AVA also earned a gold medal. This wine benefits the Aberdeen Museum of History and features a drawing by winery co-owner Kim Roberts on the label. The sculpture commemorating this wine, located in the winery’s four-tier meditation garden, was created by North River artist Sherryl Jackson.
