The Thurston Economic Development Council is pleased to announce the finalists for the upcoming Business Recognition Awards, to take place on March 31, 2014 from 11:00 – 1:30 pm at the Red Lion Hotel, 2300 Evergreen Park Drive SW in Olympia. This is the 31st year the Thurston EDC will host the awards, which honors the achievements of local businesses in four distinct categories: New Business, Small Business, Corporate Employer and Non-Profit Organization. Registration is open to the public.
Finalists in the New Business category include: Single Handed Consulting, Cross Fit Lacey Training Day, and The Lanai Cafe.
Small Business finalists are Welch’s Appliances, GHB Insurance, Washington Business Bank, and Derma Medical Spa.
Corporate Employer finalists are Capital Medical Center, Storman’s Inc. and Batdorf and Bronson Coffee Roasters. Non-profit of the Year finalists include KAOS Community Radio, Olympia/Thurston Crime Stoppers and South Sound Parent to Parent.
