Going Coastal from Westport Winery
Going Coastal from Westport Winery

In the summer 2015 issue of Wine Press Northwest, Westport Winery received three top reviews for their sparkling wines.

Going Coastal, the winery’s bubbly Gewurztraminer earned an “Outstanding”. Rapture of the Deep, the winery’s popular sparkling cranberry, and Maritime, their Muscat, pomegranate and blueberry blend, both earned “Excellent”. This evaluation places the winery’s sparklers in the top tier of sparkling wines throughout the Northwest. Only one other producer earned three top spots on this exclusive list.

These wines are available for tasting daily at Westport Winery Garden Resort where they are exclusively available to purchase. Whether you want one chilled or gift wrapped, the Westport team is ready to share with you their love of bubbles.

A portion of the proceeds from Going Coastal benefits the Coastal Interpretive Center in Ocean Shores. Rapture of the Deep benefits Aberdeen’s Driftwood Theater. Maritime benefits the Northwest Carriage Museum in Raymond.

The label art on Going Coastal was painted by Krister Lile. The Rapture label was created by winery co-owner Blain Roberts. The Maritime watercolor was from Darryl Easter. All of the label art is available in a poster format at the winery.

When you visit be sure to explore the resort’s unique sculpture garden, lavender labyrinth, musical fence, 9-hole executive golf course, giant chess set, outdoor scrabble game, and grape maze, all located on the corner of Highway 105 and South Arbor Road halfway between Aberdeen and Westport. You will see why Westport Winery was voted Best of the Northwest Wine Tour and Destination.

Westport Winery Garden Resort’s award-winning wines are exclusively available at the resort. The tasting room, gift shop, produce market, plant nursery, bakery and gardens, are open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The restaurant is open for lunch daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and for dinner on Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more information contact Westport Winery at 360-648-2224 or visit the website at www.westportwinery.com.
