Students and college grads looking to earn advanced degrees can explore more than 50 masters programs at once during the 23rd annual Evergreen Graduate School Fair later this month.
The event, which takes place Wednesday, October 22, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Library lobby of The Evergreen State College, is free for students, alumni and the general public.
“We have a great mix of programs attending this year, including the University of Washington’s schools of Information, Law, and Public Health, as well as grad programs from Washington State, Seattle Pacific, Seattle U., Pacific Lutheran, Saint Martin’s, and many others throughout Washington and the Pacific Northwest,” said Steve Laing, director of Evergreen’s Career Development Center. Representatives from Evergreen’s master’s programs in teaching, public administration and environmental studies will also be on hand.
Representatives from 48 institutions representing more than 100 graduate programs attended last year’s event. “Early registrations for this year indicate participation will exceed last year’s event,” said Laing. “It’s a great opportunity for individuals interested in graduate school to learn first-hand about the wealth of graduate programs available to them here in the Northwest.”
