Puffin Mercy FrontWestport Winery has earned its first two medals for their new hard apple ciders. The labels for Mercy, Grace and Courage were awarded a silver medal in label design at the Denver International Wine Competition. The original art was created by winery co-owner Kim Roberts. They feature a puffin, a whale tail, and a Dungeness crab, respectively.

Their pure hard apple cider, Mercy, earned a bronze medal in the cider category of this event. A portion of the proceeds from all of these ciders (and their companion cranberry wine named Hope) benefit Dallas-based Mercy Ships as they provide medical treatment for some of the poorest of the poor who live in West Africa. All three ciders are available for tasting daily at Westport Winery.
