The South Sound’s #1 rated Chiropractic Clinic, Tumwater Chiropractic Center, has just added a Group Health Massage therapist to their team. Walter Hooker, LMP, has been a massage therapist in this area for 19 years, and he is a contracted preferred provider with all Group Health insurance plans.
Walter has worked in both a chiropractic and physical therapy setting for over 17 years, helping thousands of patients during that time with his unique therapeutic massage approach. He specializes in injury treatment with personalized treatment plans, and is deeply dedicated to rehabilitation of every client. He uses a combination of deep-tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and a variety of other muscle release techniques to help restore mobility and decrease pain.
He graduated with honors from the Seattle Massage School and has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association throughout his career. When he’s not helping his clients feel better, Walter enjoys spending time with his family, music, outdoor activities, metal detecting, and a good cup of coffee.
