olympia tutorThe tutors at Olympia’s Club Z! are amongst the best our area has to offer.  At a minimum, each tutor must have a degree in the subject taught, but many possess much more education than a simple diploma.

On staff are two PhD physicists, a PhD chemist, cognitive specialists, speech and language pathologists, linguists, psychologists, and educational therapists.  The majority of Club Z! tutors are board certified teachers.  Some are retired, others graduate students, but all have a wealth of experience to share.

“The majority of my tutors are very much overqualified,” says Club Z! owner Angela Grant.  They range in age from their mid-20’s to their mid-70’s and hail from private and public schools around the area (elementary and high schools as well as The Evergreen State College, South Puget Sound Community College, Saint Martin’s University).  Two are engineers for the state and one is in the National Guard.

Through Club Z’s proprietary Z! Tutor Match, students are guaranteed to find the right fit.  Four criteria are used in this process: academic strengths, availability, personality, and teaching style.  Club Z! guarantees the best match possible.  With over 50 highly trained tutors on staff, a productive rapport is ensured.

Because Club Z! doesn’t require expensive mandatory diagnostic testing, tutoring begins right away.  At an initial meeting with owner Angela Grant, a learning plan is created and progress can be seen almost immediately.  One-on-one sessions with consistent parental follow-up mean that, on average, students improve two letter grades in as little as 60 days.  Sessions can last either for the duration of the class or the school year, with added enrichment programs available year round.

Enrollment with Club Z! is a simple process, with no contract required.  Billing is done on an hourly basis and all work is performed one-on-one with the student.

For questions or to arrange a private consultation, Club Z! can be found online or by calling 360.436.6615.
